Brandon Inge
Brandon is a former Major League Baseball player with 13 seasons of big-league experience, known for his versatility, leadership, and exceptional defensive ability. Drafted by the Detroit Tigers, Brandon became one of the most respected and longest-tenured players in the organization, earning an All-Star selection in 2009 and helping lead Detroit through multiple playoff runs.
Throughout his career, Brandon played nearly every position on the field, but is best known for his years at third base, where he became a fan favorite for his toughness, work ethic, and ability to make highlight-reel defensive plays.
After retiring from MLB, Brandon shifted his focus to developing young athletes. His passion is teaching the fundamentals of the game the right way — with an emphasis on mechanics, confidence, accountability, and building competitive character. Brandon brings a rare combination of professional-level experience and a down-to-earth, encouraging coaching style that athletes respond to immediately.
At Inge Performance Lab, Brandon leads baseball development, mentorship, and advanced hitting and fielding instruction. His goal is simple: help every athlete unlock their potential by training with purpose, intensity, and joy.
Taylor Wagner- Catching
Taylor is a catching instructor with 10 years of instruction experience, 8 years of Head coaching experience, 10 years of total coaching experience, and 15 years of playing experience including Division 1 Softball at Eastern Michigan University where she caught for all 4 years.
Taylor is the Head Coach of Hartland High School, where in her 8 year tenure, teams have won 4 District Championships, 3 Regional Championships, and the 2023 Division 1 State Championship.
Originally from Iowa, Taylor has found a home in Livingston County as a coach of 3 sports and a teacher at Hartland High School. Softball has provided many opportunities in her life, and she is very excited to continue to give back to the game through the growth of softball in the area.
Her main area of focus is catching instruction. Catching is the most important position on the field, and she aims to focus on the finer details of the position through proper instruction in receiving, blocking, throwing mechanics, and developing the athlete mentally into being game managers behind the dish and becoming the best leaders they can.
As the game grows and changes, so must we. Taylor is a true student of the game and is always working towards utilizing proven techniques to help the athletes be their best. She is highly energetic and values building relationships and making connections. Softball is fun, let’s make it fun!
